It's my hometown so I am biased, however, I have watched the population, job market and city as a whole grow so much over the past 5-7 years.  

I want to be able to buy a duplex in the next 12-18 months and grow to triplexes or quads from there, eventually. 

But rents will keep growing!

The competition is getting tougher in those areas because it's growing in popularity which cuts into the previous profitability of those areas.

I do still think that Texas and Florida for example have room to grow because of the strong population and jog growth. would it become another LA.

I live in Southern California and am investing currently in Indianapolis with growing interest in Kenosha, WI (Family ties).I'm currently in the renovation phase of my first BRRR duplex in Indianapolis, IN and a few weeks from the purchase of a 4plex BRRR in the same area.Looking forward to learning from the community as well as the obvious networking opportunities.

I have a friend who lives there and tells me that the opportunity is growing within that market, especially for buy/holds.  

I think you're ahead of the curve with BP, it's a valuable community that's only growing.
