It was down to her and one other girl and we definitely made the right decision because we took the time to get to know her and the same is true whether you’re hiring contractors—you know, sometimes it’s kind of a pain in the butt to go out and meet three different contractors at a job because it’s three different appointments and three different hours out of your schedule, but if you hire the right one up front?

Their process is such a pain to deal with.

And it's a freaking pain in the neck to deal with banks!

It's a pain in the neck to get to thanks to the border, both to get in Canada and then into the USA...and of course back again. 

My hope is that this strategy will help me get that first one as soon as possible and start the snowball rolling.Until then I will keep learning, networking, and analyzing deals with the belief that my passion, desire, hunger, and increasing knowledge will at some point overshadow my lack of experience.THINK BIG...THINK BIGGER...THINK MASSIVELY!

@Lauren Nelson keep in mind at your moms age, being a landlord can be more of pain verses being beneficial.

Dont get me wrong, hunger/ambition go a long way, and RE isn't civil engineering a land bridge.
