I also have the added bonus of getting lot rent out of it so the return goes through the roof.If you have taken into account all your recurring costs as well as your "escrow" items such as furnace, roof, flooring replacement, YOUR TIME and effort, and you still net $250/month cash flow, that is a pretty good return.

I also purchased 12K in google stocks at $58 a share when the company first went public and still have my stocks.

Alternatively, you can talk to a realtor/post an ad on Craigslist, etc to gauge market demand for your property.

We would like to continue to do so for added income as here in St.

Reno is a market I am looking at because it is closer to me, is still affordable, and there is a growing tech/job sector with Tesla, Google, and others building into the area.
