This ALONE eliminates the issues some may face.We also don’t advertise “No credit check”…screw that….if an applicant is a deadbeat, we don’t’ want to deal with it…I remember when the law was first passed, the largest REI group locally had a meeting with an attorney as a guest speaker, and being the nerd I was, I had the entire freakin code printed off and highlighted and sat on the front row…He went on and on scaring the hell out of everyone, but was citing code that didn’t apply to a lease option…I raised my hand to stop him and told him that what he just mentioned didn’t even apply to a lease option….His response when he saw the stacks of paperwork in front of me…”Well…yes….ummm..you’re right…yes…ummmm….BUT..now…look at section such and such...” and went right over my question….3 days later, everyone that attended got an e-mail from this attorney stating “Want to do lease options legally?
