If you're not focused on one area, it's not practical to follow proposed development districts to grab property before turnarounds happen.

I went to college in Detroit, and have lived in the area for over 7 years. 

So if you are using a lender in MA and there is no attorney the real estate bar may come after you for UPL (unauthorized practice of law).

We have kids College loans and a truck we financed for our son while he was in Afghanistan.

Is it too early for a senior in college with very little savings to be thinking about investing?

I want properties near hospitals, colleges, military bases, or transportation. 

It might be good negotiation practice to lowball an already low price.

@Natasha Wade  I suspect this happens but on its face its TERRIBLE business practice.. and as  HML I would NEVER do this.. giving nameless people who may or may not be credit worthy the ability to tie up property, based on this phony letter is just HORRIBLE way to do business.In my mind your either in the business ,,, have thought it through enough to have capital or the ability to get capital or you sit it out until you do...LOL   blind leading the blind..
