Investment Info:Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Hey everyone,

Are there any sites you would recommend for market research on an area other than looking at census data?

I'm in the Reno Tahoe, Nevada area and open to network, share market information, and discuss multifamily investing.

I'm just starting out and considering the following markets for a potential OOS investment property.

You could look at filing a complaint against the original contractor - realizing those don't often go anywhere, but it's something.

Besides the benefit of the forms, I do not think the money is well spent) or MLS membership (approximate $190/quarter, which is useful investment)- Brokerage has no trust fund/escrow account.  

Once you identify this, it will be easier to decide what investment you should buy. 

We're doing the disclosures now and I was quite surprised at the 2.469% of Loan Amount (points) Origination charge which brings the total Origination charges to $16,500 (Property cost is 645K, 10% down).

I live in Chicago and invest in multifamily on the east coast and in the midwest.

Liability is the #1 risk even in LTR, or any investment that has exposure.
