I have never heard of a mom-and-pop investor getting sued and losing property or even having their personal assets touched.You also have to remember you have to stay in compliance with your LLC or the protection goes away.

It should be using the payoff of my existing loan in place of Loan Amount OR deduct any loan costs that are included in the new loan principal, which is part of the new Loan Amount.After pushing them to try and correct this their compliance refuses to change this number, make an addendum note or allow me to mark through it and put in a more correct number (payment X term mths).

The insurance adjuster has sent me a Proof of Loss form to sign requesting my full stated dwelling coverage and assured me by phone (not in writing) that additional coverages will be forthcoming for personal property losses, loss of rental income, etc, as stated in my policy.I am looking for a real estate or insurance attorney who can look over my policy and this proof of loss form and make sure that in signing this form, I am not signing away any rights to request additional funds from insurance.
