My RE Agent noticed that the listing was changed from "Active" to "Active - No Showings" on TREND. 

Are you seeing similar things to two years ago when this thread was active?

I am also assuming your RE investment activity actually qualifies for the deduction. 

I've had a student tenant question the internet as well but in this case the internet had gone out and I actually believed he needed it for schoolwork, not recreational activities, so I felt very bad. 

What role do you envision playing in the ongoing activities of the investment?

I have followed the PodCasts for several months.There is much to learn and an abundance of knowledge here that I must find and act on.People who are active on this forum, and actually doing deals are who have the advice I seek.

Now we are looking to take a more business focused approach and we are actively engaged in looking for cash-flow properties from long-term rentals in Granada.

I know he has a book but I haven’t read it .Starting with 100k cash and ending up with millions in 30 years would not be too difficult even with passive investments especially if you are reinvesting or letting it compound .Something more active like flipping or doing value add deals and then selling them of course could get one there a lot quicker .

@Sean Dawson, I'm a note investor and I would suggest you get active on the various Facebook groups where note investors gather.
