I have been in contact with a couple of real estate agents that really don't seem to understand what I am trying to achieve.

What are you ultimately trying to achieve? 

Once you understand your limits, you can make an educated decision on the property you're willing to buy, the type of tenant, and ultimately understand the return you're going to achieve. 

At the end of the day it’s all about finding the best fit for your situation and knowing which broker will help you achieve your goals.

If you can be more specific with your goals maybe I can outline a plan of action that works for options and is attainable to achieve.  

What are you trying to achieve?

Nice neighborhood with great access to 2 interstates and bus-way to get downtown in minutes.I plan to revamp the upstairs unit that I am currently living in to achieve $1,000/mo. rental income when I move out.

What are you looking to achieve?

I live in Seattle and could use some input and advice on achieving my goal of living independent with little to no housing costs.I am hoping to achieve this by taking advantage of newly enacted DADU laws in Seattle.
