Even if it isn't your personal home, if you can still get a good rate it can still be worth it if the higher payment (it may not even be higher, it could be lower or the same) doesn't hurt your current financial picture. 

I would equate STNL with getting on an inter tube and relaxing down a lazy river and MTNL - Most retail centers except 2 to 4 tops with national tenants being like in a lap pool swimming up against 10 mile an hour currents trying to gain ground.I have some of those deals closing but is taking more time because lender, buyer, and seller want to see how businesses re-open and do to get a clearer picture of the recovery.

If we cant see the pictures or the prices it is tough to give you much more than general advice. 

Last September we were told by another property owner the fence was failing, and our tenant sent a picture of the fence bowing, but not breached.

Focus more on the big picture rather than the instant issue.

It's hard to tell from just pictures vs standing there on site.Also, the parking lot looks very alligatored, meaning possibly a large repair bill.If they stay that way for too long they start to really degrade making the repair costs go up.  

Paint each one with funny pictures or posts. 

Every reputable local economist has painted concerning pictures of the future. 

Then at least once a year do an inspection and take plenty of pictures.  

They don't have a license but the next thing is if they show the names and pictures of the principals right?
