I don't see the advantage in paying off your mortgage versus just using the cash you already have for your down payment.

My problem then, and even now is I struggle to see the win-win.  

I do see the value of an SDIRA owning a property outright, assuming there is a sufficient cushion to cover maintenance, taxes/expenses, capital repairs, etc.

, you have to sign the seller on comission of $10,500 and seller will see the split between listing and selling broker as $9000/$1500.How can you justify  6 times more comissions than selling agent doing all the transaction after you’re done with marketing?!?

I also called HR at a local hospital to see the demand for traveling nurses and did not get too far :/.

I am the one finding the deals, doing the numbers (obviously)  and asking most of the questions, only using my agent to see the house and place the offer.I am looking for property in the Va beach , Chesapeak , Norfolk area in Virginia. 

Seems weird that they'd want to schedule time to see the house, but won't fill out application.

But a 2 unit property, you may never see the other person.
