Had one we recently did in a kitchen that had 4 floors we had to get out to start over otherwise our tile would have been about 2 inches higher than the hardwood floor it butts up to in the next room!

We do avoid large expanses of tile (using them in bathrooms, laundry areas and kitchens only) unless there is in-floor heat.
