I have been scouring the internet for an answer and I finally thought to pose this question on BP. 

Sounds like you found one.An internet search on market forecast for your city predicts that the over 9% price increase of the past year will most likely continue on indefinitely. 

I might be playing to your bias as someone in the technology space, but given the secular trend of capital concentrating in technology companies, try to buy near their headquarters if you are looking for appreciation.

@Roderick Dewar Right out of the gate, concentrate on training. 

Good schools, good internet, great amenities, and not too far from a big city if you need to take a break or add variety to your shopping/dining/entertainment.

The tenant would be responsible for phone/internet/cable.Partial furnishings means it will have a custom built in kitchen, balcony furniture, light fixtures, and double sink/vanity with custom surround lit mirror and pendant lighting in main bath.

There is the hassle of maintaining all utilities, internet, etc and making sure the property is clean.
