You guys built the best, most inspiring, knowledge-filled, REI website out there to this day.

Although a lot of people will recommend "inspirational books" like 'Rich dad poor dad', "Think and grow rich" and these self-help/motivational books, I have a slightly different approach.

Posting a blatant advertisement is very poor form and your inability to understand the forum rules doesn't inspire confidence.However, your entire premise is bogus.

She was also my inspiration to buy a duplex and rent out part of the house.

It's also my hope that one day I can be a source of inspiration, education, and resourcefulness like so many of the members here! 

Just watched BP Podcast 191, Bill Manassero was very inspirational and I hope to learn from him and others like him (value-driven, cash-flow focused; and most of all, family oriented).  

I've also been very fortunate to have such an inspiring, loving, and knowledgeable father figure who has been doing real estate since he started in San Francisco years ago when he was my age, but I want to make my own connections, learn everything I can, and take what he's given me and make something of it. 

Tell him you've got an idea you'd like to run by him, and offer to do it over lunch--your treat.Tell him you're inspired by him, and it got your wheels turning in your mind:  he wants to sell a few properties, you want to buy a few properties.
