@Koen BallantineI'm not quite sure if you are talking about a house for yourself, or an investment property.  

These investors may, for at least a time, continue to receive interest payments – but they rarely get their principal back.COMMENT: There are some note investors out there who have significant judgments against them for running a scheme similar to this, and selling assets and not letting the investor involved in that deal aware of this.
