The refinance process is just like a new loan.Go to the lender and fill out the application, provide documentation they require and they will give you a sheet with the estimated fees for funding and closing.

I am sure I will make a few mistakes initially, so a small one is a good way to pay "school fees"...My experience in South Africa is mainly with apartments and multis, so I suppose this would be best suited.

You'll have to check your agreement to see if the seller can recover attorney's fee as well.

If I want to analyze a multifamily property which asking price is $3.400.000,00 and already has a loan for $1.462.000,00; The property is being sold with the loan, and this is a non-recourse loan that must be assumed, and there is a 1% fee to assume the loan which is also included in the asking price.

So when a wholesaler says he wants to sell you a property he has under contract (i.e. assign the contract to you), but he doesn't want to disclose what price he has it under contract for (since he doesn't want you to see his markup/fee), you can assume he's a new wholesaler and probably doesn't really know what he's doing.

I meant to set a small late fee to be charged per day, but instead it was set the small late fee to be charged per month if they dont pay the rent on time.
