In CA, things are particularly tenant friendly, and details about required move in and move out procedures are, as you know, very specific; here, it appears to be exactly the opposite.I don't remember details offhand of what the laws said, but I was really stunned to find out how little protection renters actually have here when I researched it to find out if certain provisions in my lease could possibly be legal before signing it, because there is no way they would be in CA.  

If you like this person let her know its hers unless she murdered someone as this is standard procedure.

A couple of reasons for our angst are- Closed two days ago, introduced ourselves to the tenants we inherited, informed them of us purchasing the property and that we needed to sit down and go over how to go about paying rent and new procedures we want to implement.

Each office should be the same, but there are different procedures from office to office.  

The problem here is mindset, not ego.You don't need to mull over complaints and requests if you have policies and procedures, which you should have regardless of how you introduce yourself.

I'm not judging them for not having dental insurance, I'm just saying if you are from San Francisco you will have huge culture shock just driving 4 - 6 hours north.When I was in Crescent City, that was during the 2016 election and there were literally huge altars to Trump, too - giant wooden structures with huge decorated Trump signs/banners, etc. 

All actions are based off systems and procedures w/ a little bit of compassion when appropriate.
