I am trying to get an idea of how to get a license from the state, but it is hard to find good information.

This is my first time considering Section 8 so I’m doing my due diligence in making a decision.

I feel like I e read before that 25% of net profit is a good rule of thumb to set aside for those taxes, but what have you all found to be true?

But wanted to add that you may want to consider a consultation with an attorney or even your liability insurance company to discuss best ways to handle this up front to avoid mis-steps in communication with the tenants, neighbors, media etc.

Each area has different rules, so it's crucial to get this cleared up early.

I do look to grow beyond two properties, but not necessarily at a rapid pace.Finally, if I were to do this, what are the proper steps in forming an LLC and then transferring them into that entity?
