The contracto I used needed baby sitting and the attention to detail was lacking so half way through the reno I was more particular and communicated my expectations clearly and ofter Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Too early to say whether the licensing and legislation/reform that's slowly being introduced across the country will clean up the perception but currently this is how many in the industry (particularly the ones you want to build relationships with) view the RE wholesale industry. 

There exist several distressed apartments buildings in downtown Lisbon (1-6 units) from 300-500k needing refurbishment with an average refurbishment cost of 20-30k max per building.

Today another tenant in the building requested to get out of their lease because the toxic vitriol and constant nasty things that are being said about me and my staff has become unbearable to them.

I would focus on building your network and connecting with people who are already successful in real estate. 

Looking to utilize the BRRRR strategy for my upcoming properties to build that portfolio of cash flowing appreciating properties!
