@Ross BauerMake sure you both consult an attorney before proceeding with the partnership to draft up the agreement.The agreement should have in writing items such as split of income, exit plan, plan for unforeseen circumstances, responsibilities of each partner, when to make capital contributions, etc.You may also have to consult with an accountant to take care of the partnership tax return.
