I think I already know the answer but want to be reaffirmed.

My fear now is that by posting it on Airbnb I put it out for the world and I believe technically it can’t be rented separately but zoning said they would just tell her I have a permit pulled or it was just people who are renting my other place on the same lot so basically really no way to prove it.I was thinking instead of a kitchen is just rent it out 3-4 months a year with an outdoor flattop grill on the patio a nice seating area and maybe an outdoor sink.

The cost of owning the home is about $800 more dollars then the rent i was paying a few years ago but i always think of the equity im building, loan paydown, and appreciation into my reasoning of the house hack strategy.

@Will Sifert hi - super late to reply...as I stepped away from BP as I didn't think I wanted to do REI investing anymore but I do so I am back and glad this site exists because I definitely have learned a lot since our time at that tax lien event and have all plans to do things different this time around! 

Get rid of your car and you can save hundreds per month on insurance and gas.I think you need to quit your side hustles immediately.

However, I think from a financial perspective, it's likely a better idea to pay off the debt or add the money either to a taxable brokerage account or a retirement vehicle like an IRA.

A lot of folks may disagree, but I don't think that by owning 1 property and deciding whether to put it in an LLC or not would make or break the deal.

The only issue I think you could be facing by renting it like that is when it comes to insurance.
