We manage a few in NJ and are constantly shipping up and/or ordering supplies to be delivered to cleaner. 

I noticed that, someone responded with a recommendation that one should purchase existing facilities. 

Other than visiting and seeing properties in person, is there a way that you would recommend finding listings in Mexico?

I was wondering if anyone had any book recommendations on how to  buy a business and/or how to start a business.

You only pay the leasing fee, not the monthly management fee.My recommendation is read @Brandon Turner book The Book on Managing Rental Properties as a starting point.

There were five cracked tiles identified and it was recommended I have a storm collar placed.

I recommend a structural engineer further evaluate and make recommendations related to this observation” And regarding this make-shift supports: “Temporary posts exist in the basement that should be considered for replacement with a permanent support system.A temporary post is noted as a support to the ground that does not appear to be resting on a footer.This temporary support post is holding up a metal beam supporting a large portion of the house.This is a structural concern that should be reviewed by a qualified engineer/contractor”I will include a couple pics as well 

If the city takes away the supply then prices will go higher as the demand will still be there in the short run.
