I once rented the upstairs unit of a duplex with owner occupied in downstairs unit - right across the street from a power station in Bellingham, WA. 

if u bought a house at each base u stationed & kept it til u retired after 20 yrs in military. 

If I really thought I was going to get fined and arrested I would go to the police station, explain that I was a landlord and that my tenants really needed the dryer because that one was dead and I am only going to HD and getting a dryer and bringing it there, and we will all maintain distance. 

@Brian Garlington, there are some decent areas in Bay Point and Pittsburg especially the areas close to Bart station. 

Hi My boyfriend is in the Navy and I am moving with him to his next duty station in August.

We might get restationed there next year and are debating buying another home or just renting while stationed there.  

Single family homes, gas stations, gyms, etc.

Not gas station or grocery store bundles, I'm talking at least 1/4 cord of seasoned wood.  

My wife and I are stationed in the Washington DC area, where a condo costs over 300k and a house starts at 600k, so buying a personal residence is of no interest to us. 

However most of my tenants with pets do choose not to have the interiors of their apartments treated for rodents but we do put out bait stations around the perimeters of the properties and in the basements and sometimes in dropped ceilings and have never once had a pet become ill or poisoned.
