Someone can probably give you a more detailed answered but my simple mind says if looks like a good deal lock up the contract with an inspection clause and then get your title company to look into the covenant and give you all the details and implications.

I’m actually kind of surprised it isn’t talked about that often.I’m looking more into investing OOS so this would be a MAJOR issue if it ever came up.Is there any simple way to find out about an HOA’s policy against renters if you’re not even in the area?

So, I did the simple paperwork and started 5 LLC's for 5 different properties.I sent the LLC paperwork and he opened new tax ID numbers for each LLC.
