DSCR loans are based off of down payment, credit score and either actual or market rents so it helps to supercharge an investor's real estate goals and net worth.

Unless the building is very well located full renovation of basement units will likely not pay off economically.

There is an office that is detached from the house that we could make super cute and promote as a private haven for people and do a few more fun things with the large space of the backyard. 

There were some code violations from a car hitting the house and other neglected maintenance that we inherited when we bought the property, although the bank paid off the fees up to the date of sale.

Maybe put off the second project for now?
