I'd like to learn more about investing in storage facilities and I'd like to be a little more involved than participating in a storage facility syndication. 

BiggerPockets is such a great space to learn about real estate investing but we have focused our efforts on providing helpful information and useful content in relevant forums, rather than promotion. 

Given that you're just starting to learn, I would highly recommend talking to lenders and real estate agents in your area.

I also push wholesalers to create notes for their spreads vs double close or assign then get the investor to pay a little higher fee or interest for X years for the wholesaler to learn how to be a true investor and mailbox money. 

There are soooooo many wholesalers that took a 3 day course or learned it from youtube, it is likely they don't know what they are doing either.

@Liam Maher i messaged you  but I would also like to learn more about the heat maps and the areas you have done these in for investing.

As I've been learning, there are the key taxes to understand when investing into a new area or state:- State business income tax (if you have an LLC)- State personal income tax (if they want to tax you too, even as an out-of-state investor)- City personal or business income taxes- Any registration fees due the city/state- City/state property taxesAnd I'm sure more!

I will gladly take any suggestions like meet ups, learning websites, books, podcasts, or even meet with other people who started real-estate investing to talk while I buy them coffee or dinner. 

Learning from experienced investors is invaluable.
