Are you house hacking it? 

My name is Aidan Ahern, I'm based out of Stillwater Oklahoma as I'm a student at Oklahoma State University, and I'm looking to break into real estate investing by way of house hacking a small multi-family!

When I’d reach out, I would simply say something simple like “I'm looking for fixer-upper houses and can buy it off market for an on market price.

It just costs more.We've almost completely switched back to gloss oil paint for the kind of extensive foursquare trim in the houses we prefer.

This means you would need to refinance the current house into a conventional loan before you can get another FHA loan.

Second question... if we can put in LLC, the house is currently titled in both my husband and my names but we were thinking of having him sign it over to me and having the LLC in my name only.  

I live in New York City and I am selling an investment property in California, a single family house, and I am planning on using 1031 to buy investment property in New York City.

@Tomcy Varghese Just chiming in becuause although I'm not an agent in Texas we build duplexes and tiny houses in Indy and the midwest (often on vacant land) and would love to connect with others doing anything similar. 

I am currently house-hacking an upper/lower duplex and recently had a tenant turnover.
