But I'm back to buying out of a solo-401k because I just quit and I rolled my work 401k into a solo-401k (Much smarter vehicle than a SD-IRA if you have a for profit business to hang one off).

When you apply to be at a brokerage and hang your license there is generally an IC agreement that has to be signed.

We would consider selling, but after commissions and fees we'd basically just break even and get our paid-in equity back; as a result, we're thinking of hanging onto the property as a rental when we move in the next several months.

This is a great place to meet people from all over the country/world, but you'll definitely want to hang out with some locals in person.
