Turns out the tenants dog has chewed open the door to the crawl space under the house, crawled under there, pulled down the duct pipe leading to the vent the tenant was complaining about.

I do want to try to match the color/texture of the flooring on the first floor, which is bamboo, but I'll definitely look into it.

But that wasn't a persistent water problem resulting in colorful growth.

To my understanding, there is a selling agreement and a title transfer that has to occur, but this area is still grey to me and I would love to bring it to color.

I'm not sure most people are looking to go as big as he suggests, but if you ever need a pick-up, you should read his stuff or listen to one of his myriad of media he has available.As a side note, and I know this is probably just me, but he needs to lay off the off color language and adultish themed topics.
