I am strongly thinking of joining one of the local REIA groups here, Salt Lake or Utah County, any suggestions?

Just joined after reading BP for a while.My name is David and I just returned to the good ole USA after living in Africa, Europe and lastly the Far East over the last six an a half years.

All I see on their website is a sign in screen, and it appears that you need to join to get past the sign in screen.

I joined bigger pockets some months back but I didn't really understand how much great information is here on this site.

My husband and I had joined the Fortune Builders Mastery team and are so very motivated to be successful.

Also regarding a mentor, do you believe it is best to pay for one or to find one in my community through a local REIA (which I have already joined).

I wanted to resurrect this post to let everyone know that I passed my real estate exam yesterday, and have joined Pinnacle Realty Advisors as an agent.
