Real estate investing is like exploring a new world, and it's awesome that you're diving into strategies like BRRRR and house hacking.

So all in, including some priority repairs we'd want to do aside from the basement, we're looking at about $750k on this house. 

Both houses are new construction that was completed a couple of weeks ago.

House hacking has been my approach here, otherwise the numbers don't really work.

I bought a house with cash from pulling a heloc on my home, off market, unappraised (deal was a no brainer in a great part of town.) 

Wife and I are supposed to be closing on a house 6/4 here in Frisco TX.

I’m have my first house built in Portsmouth VA and will be renting out two of rooms in a 3 bed 3.5 bath townhome.

The home is spacious enough to house 11 young college students; at a local growing private college. 

However, I don't have enough money for the land, and getting financing for land is much harder than for a house.I have an inside connection to the owner, who is open to selling a 1-bedroom wood frame house on the lot next to the land for $60,000.
