Do not worry about the 90 day expiration on the pre-approval, that is a arbitrary number and can be renewed if you're towards the end of that timeline, don't feel like you're under the gun.

It will likely subside over time.If this person has poisoned the pool and her friend is going to be equally problematic, you may want to non-renew the friend too.If "plans to do so more often in the future" means she is moving in with the "friend", then the friend has violated the lease by allowing a non-approved resident to live in the unit.
