What would the cost of renovating the studio so you could rent it for 600.00??  

If the place is paid for (usually goes along with grandparents owning anything) you can find someone who will pay you to renovate it in the form of a tenant.Or sell it.  

How much renovation is needed and what is the estimated cost of that renovation?  

I want to put granite counter top on 1st renovation.

In this B-level property I have 4 units, one of which I completely renovated when I first bought the property, and was able to raise the rent by $200/mo as a result.My question pertains to the other 3 units.

Hi all,Its great to be here finally.I have been listening to the podcasts for the past few months (while I renovate houses), and when I heard that Julie Broad was signed on here, I had to join ASAP.  

I've negotiated the price down to 100k for the property itself, not including renovations, but when I started doing research on the property it turns out there is a vendor's lien showing it was purchased by this company for 112.5k plus points.  

I am very interested in flipping/ renovating houses.

@Daniel Adams One thing to keep in mind with the 203k loan is the way that the money is handled for the renovations and that it is paid directly to the contractors, and all the associated restrictions.  

So we renovated and rented out the basement.
