Great place to live -- not so much when there is little to no leverage to purchase my own home, burn rate goes very quickly, or perhaps I don't know enough.I follow Brandon Turner, BiggerPockets, Grant Cardone and have attended both his Real Estate and Sales & Marketing talks.I would like to get into real estate to one day either purchase or build my own Home Recording Studio.

An ABNB I stayed in last winter was bought the previous year for $525k, that buyer then put it on the market for $525 less than a year after their purchase--today that asking price was reduced to $450!!!

Some include 1) there are many more owner occupied home buyers than investor RE purchasers 2) adding small units in small counts is the most expensive development 3) it detracts something from the primary even if it is just yard.
