Some times they are donated to my nonprofit organization I rehab them then sale as affordable housing instead of renting them.

That said I do love working and I love real estate but I don't love having to work inside an office or a stuffy classroom all day and being told where to be and when by a big organization...that's my big why!

The program exists, as I see it, primarily to pass money along to organized crime.

I really dislike dealing with the inefficient bureaucracy of sec-8 just like any gov't run organization. 

We can always organize one :)

The Greater Tampa Association of Realtors and Pinellas Realtor Organization will be great starts to identify potential relationships. 

And perhaps that's the road you take, or at least get started in.There's some romanticism in Robert Frost's path in the woods and taking the road less traveled, but then again if you're surrounding yourself with like-minded people, leaning on your network, enlisting the help of a coach or mentor, you're going to see a common theme which is where they are currently activePlease note that I'm not saying that that is the path you HAVE to take, but at a minimum speak with them about the investing they do & why, and perhaps even shadow them for a time.There's a proverb we use in our Organization: If you want to go fast, go alone. 

@David Monroe Unfortunately I am not...I think that is my next step...organize my time better so I am not working frantically trying to figure out what to do but instead set time to work on specific things.

I have done a few.. and well I guess we are just spoiled on the west coast with our very organized and efficient foreclosure disposition rules and methods..  

This organization gave me access to listingbook.com where I can select a few houses, prepare the offers myself and the "investor friendly agent" submits the offers on my behalf.
