In Illinois, the EPA requirements are strict and the penalty even worse for not following their instruction on safe handling.

And I don’t ever rely on any manufacturer telling me the roof shingles will last 35 years 🙄.  

I periodically update a document that lists all of my assets, key contact information, and enough instructions to handle the important items until the properties can be sold.  

They have been instructed to do what is needed to maintain a good quality of life in our neighborhoods.

@Matthew CharronWhen getting your license, they will instruct you (at least they did here) on how to act as an agent when representing others and representing yourself in transactions.

Does not make any difference if you have instructed a tenant to not tamper with or disable a alarm.

If they can’t follow those simple instructions, don’t want them as a tenant.

Also not sure who drafted your LLC agreements and such but you may want pay attention to the language in your agreements to hold meetings and keep minutes as instructed in your LLC operating agreement.
