The $495 fee (they range from 295-595 with different agencies) is a fee collected by our broker, per transaction, as mine only gets 10% of the commission for deals I generate on my own, and have to stay in business somehow.

Plus she's hilarious and sweet and we love her.Our agent had been making a number of unsuccessful "low ball" offers on properties on our behalf, maybe too low (I'm admitted the super-conservative math nerd of the partnership), when Christina noticed a property on her way to work that had a real estate agency sign in the yard, so she makes the call (yay, another offer!)

Ideally, this is when I set up their auto email (easier to get geographic boundaries just right when they're with me), and right after that meeting I send them the buyers agency agreement to sign (electronically).
