As for the remote locations, I've considered Indiana and Michigan because I do a fair bit of traveling there for work and know that I'll be able to check in on the properties periodically and meet with my team on the ground.

It is tempting to think of exotic locations when it is all a future goal.

It's right down the street from the meeting location, if any of you can make one or the other?

I would rather overpay a little bit for a nice property in a great location, then hunt for some super deal on a so-so property.

A lot of this comes down to location though.

I'd prefer Central NJ location, Middlesex County.
