Lessons learned?

I plan to go meet with the SLC Zoning/Permitting office to learn all I can, but thought I'd reach out here first. 

As a real estate investor, I would like to learn how to properly put together a private syndication from an attorney with experience in this field.

We’ve also learned that the lowest price almost always means trouble down the road. 

Once you learn this, you can tailor the offer to meet their needs.

What did you learn, exactly?

Big ticket item here is the cleaning.

When squatters learn it could take months or years to be forcibly evicted, they know they are safe for a certain amount of time.

I'm finally looking to get out of analysis paralysis and pull the trigger on my REI journey and i want to start out as a co-host on AirBNB to learn the ropes from someone more experienced, learn enough to where I feel comfortable to host my own and earn a few dollars in the process.The only issue I have is that I have no experience as a co-host and per AirBNB's standard, i currently do not qualify as a Co-Host.

I learned this the hard way not too long ago.I invest in similar areas and I do use leverage to buy properties but I have starting using the techniques that I mention above, keep a good cash reserve, and I am more aggressive on the debt paydown than on assets that have good appreciation.
