They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

If all the tenants sign consent forms as part of the lease agreement, then any conversations the tenant is in will be fair game to record.

Now you need to start preparing for marketing, showing, screening software and processes, selecting a tenant, Fair Housing, emotional support animals, collecting a deposit, disparate impact, local and state housing laws, Section 8, your lease agreement, late rent, unpaid rent, partial rent, bounced checks, etc.No worries!

I think I have a pretty good idea as to how to jump into the real estate game.

While that is not always the case, life is a game of probability.

But short term is to just get into the game and start playing.
