After three years of being afraid to even walk out my front door without first checking the window to make sure the coast was clear, finally most of the stocks are gone and there is peace and quiet and yet the landlord of one of the heroin dealers is continuing to torment me through the most unbelievable unconstitutional illegal use of his power as a board member now.

I am happy renting for now :)I am completely new to real estate, and have never invested in real estate (or REIT) myself.I am looking to use Bigger Pockets to enhance my knowledge and even invest once I have acquired some knowledge.My short term goal (1-1.5 yrs from now) is to start by buying a studio/1-bedroom apartment in either San diego or Atlanta.By buying, I am talking about taking a traditional mortgage by doing 20% down and taking a home loan on that.

Hopefully everyone can just leave peacefully as w/ rumors, it is hard to do anything and the cops are usually pretty worthless in these type of situations.

Stay out of it....Tell the other tenant that if there is a disturbance they are concerned with, then call the police and let you know the outcome.Unless this becomes a very regular issue...with multiple police calls..... where they are violating the lease in regard to infringing on the other tenants right to peace and quiet....I wouldn't even contact the fighting tenants.Do not become the outlet for a tenant to call you for every petty issue

In no particular order those might be: reputation, timeline for job and price.    2.If I were looking to buy a house, I would know at least three things, maybe more: location, school district, shopping nearby and budget for a mortgage.What I’m saying is the property owner/manager who knows at least three things, maybe more, is in a better position to get a proposal that meets their requirements, saves energy and time as well as providing peace of mind post decision making.Getting the “best deal” on a laundry contract requires the property owner/manager to submit a specific request with which both counter parties can work to negotiate the final product.
