The asking price is just a little bit more than the land is worth plus improvements such as, water hookup and sewer hookup and electrical not counting house.any rate, we can come up with the difference plus down payment of course. the house the seller and I agree, its not forgettable.

But looking back I should have furnished it, provided weekly cleaning, etc.,  and put visiting nurses in it or found a corp. needing weekly visitor housing.Since I do mail marketing and look at a lot of data, I've always been curious about the NY/NJ/CT people who own in CA.

I have about 13,000 in cash, the foreclosure I am expecting to be worth around $200,000 once in good condition, hopefully normal maintenance is all that is needed (i.e. cleaning moss of roof, landscape cleanup, paint, etc.).

Together (for both houses), the total rehabbing would be 23,000. this includes roofing, painting, pressure washing, electrical, floors, bathroom re-vamps, landscaping, ceiling work, doors, fixtures. the 9!
