It's very unfinished, insulation is hanging down from the ceiling, there's trash down there.

I find when you are one of the most expensive houses, it is MUCH harder to rentCeilings- There are ceiling to an area.

In both units, the bathroom tubs leaked through to ceiling below and the downstairs showed water stains.

There really is not a "floor" as to price in a distressed sale, some properties can't be sold for a dollar due to environment issues, there is however a "ceiling" as to price and that will be based on the market value.
