Hi all, RE newbie here...There was a property I would like to check out - a 4 unit property in westchester - and rather than picking a broker out of a hat, was wondering if BP had any recommendations for an agent that has experience with multifamily apartments and can provide general guidance through the process (ideally they would own one as well!)

Also contact a broker that sells large apt buildings by going online and looking for those that are for sale and take broker out to lunch and ask them if they would like to have you as a back up plan to any management problems there company cannot solve!

I do not work on duplexes, tri's and quads but larger 5 units and above.So it might help to mention what you are trying to do.There is a different set of brokers that work on the larger properties versus residential agents that pick up a duplex or tri-plex here or there that sell houses.
