I've actually built my own spreadsheet that shows a breakdown for our contractors by each task what we will pay for it including labor and cost of materials, everything down to change a light fixture, flooring per sq ft, etc.

If you're going to pigtail in some copper wiring, just make sure your connections are really tight and coat the bare wires with an anti-oxidant grease (like Noalox).

Which I don't agree with, but that is what it sounds like is going on.If you haven't already asked, I would ask them why there is a $100 fee and when they make their BS up as to why I would take them to task and I bet they cave and email them to you for free.Also, are you sure they even had signed leases if you never saw them?
