This could be semantics since my local web site refers to it as the "assessed" or "just value" and not tax assessed.

I've been browsing the web and I don't believe I can write off any of my premium for life insurance but wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything.I am currently looking at purchasing my first property as a "buy and hold".

For example, if I put up a $1,000 em on a property I would collect $3-$5,000 non-refundable em from my buyer.  

I'm a newbie investor, so I don't have a liquid assets to purchase the property, other than the EM required.

Not good because I work hard for my money.To give you an idea of what I'm working with: My wife and I both have full time jobs, I have a very profitable web design agency that is based out of my home, and I'm planning on adding a few buy and hold properties this year.Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

As for property taxes, the easiest thing to do is to go to the county web site and look at the property taxes.
