Hi @Jason Schultz, well it's more complicated than flipping houses and notes/brokering have more regulated restrictions since you are dealing with a loan and various consumer protection regs.

If you really want to create a **** storm, you could do the "let me talk to your manager, I'm thinking of filing a consumer complaint" type route.

Both are full of valuable information and easy to consume.

It is very difficult, very time consuming and very frustrating to change the tax status of the LLC with the IRS. 

Some agents unfortunately dont know their head from a hole in the ground or fully understand the products they are selling so it's always best to protect yourself as the consumer.

It's time consuming but if committed, you would thank yourself one day for not parting with your $$ on huge educational ticket items.
