You tell me why a person starting a business would want to shield their self from having to pay their debts.Most new and small investors don't need any type of corporation.

This is a great forum with very knowledgeable members that will help to guide you in the right direction, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.

As far as training for post-licensing, I combined self-paced online and zoom online classes because I was taking them in 2020.

If you have $60k+ to invest, this isn't bad, but you will be working for it if you self manage.  

If you buy a smaller deal then self manage for a bit to get the hang of it.

This is my passion.Not everyone want to house people, some just want to collect the rents, some want to flip, some want to do what they call wholesaling--which to me is more of a self employed situation than actual investing, although I do see the overlap.

@Amanda Thompson we self manage our primary residence (a triplex) and do everything except the renting out part.
