The TX Property Code requires documentation via police reports in addition to documentation of stalking from a provider of medical health services, mental health services, or other authorized provider of services.

So basically, mental illness should not bar anyone from being a landlord but please take responsibility for your health and have someone else help you manage the business side of things, if indicated:)

Ask if their pet has any health conditions - and if so, how are they managing them?

The bottom line is that my rental properties were super busy this summer when, then to add to the "normal" stress, I was hit with major health issues (cancer) for hubby and a daughter.

They basically leave a measuring box in the lowest part of the house for a couple of days.If it's a high number, you would want to address it with ventilation or some sort of ground barrier.If it's really high (most likely not) then you need to contact someone since it'll directly affect your health and marketability of the house.

Because I am not familiar with their mental health, I did not question their need for so many animals.
