Two points to be aware of - 1) You can only do the Owner/Builder route on your own residence, 2) Helping for only one day will do you no good.

we have a new triplex we are getting ready to start building on a few plots on OTE / near east district on infill lots through a council variance process. first group is from New York doing it with us but it would be nice to do this with owner occupants.

what folks don't realize many times and I see this on my clients HUDS every week sales cost almost always come to 10% so in this case 18k.. one of the main reasons is the buyer ( if its going owner occ) will almost certainly need seller credits for closing costs.
